About Wayss
Atwayss, we believe in empowering people to live free from family violence and homelessness. As the largest provider of housing and family violence services in South East Melbourne, we’re proud to deliver evidence-based, client-focused support that truly makes a difference.
We’re currently seeking two Practitioners to join The Orange Door – a transformative initiative that provides integrated support to women, children, families, and men. The Orange Door provides support for child wellbeing, people impacted by family violence and people who are using violence.

About The Role
As a Practitioner at The Orange Door, you’ll:
- Complete needs and risk assessments and develop safety plans
- Provide support face to face and over the phone
- Deliver professional evidence based advice and support to clients
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Help create safer futures for families and individuals
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work or related field (or working towards Family Violence Minimum Qualifications)
- Demonstrated experience supporting women, children, and men who have been impacted by family violence and families with complex needs.
- Demonstrated strong risk assessment and trauma-informed practice skills using MARAM framework
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building abilities
- Valid Driver’s License and Working with Children Check (Employment category)
