Council of the City of Sydney, Australia Automic Group Full time

As a Sales Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving Automic’s commercial growth. You’ll provide the data, insights, and operational excellence that empower our sales organisation to perform at its best.

You’ll act as the analytical and operational backbone of the sales function — managing our CRM and tech stack, optimising processes, and ensuring accurate forecasting and planning. Your work will help the team make smarter decisions, move faster, and deliver exceptional results.

You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to connect strategy with execution and ensure the business has the insights it needs to keep growing.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

- Analyse sales performance, conversion rates, and pipeline trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Build dashboards and reports that guide decision-making across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Manage and optimise our CRM (HubSpot) and other key sales tools to enhance usability and data integrity.
- Lead initiatives to streamline and document sales processes, driving efficiency and consistency.
- Oversee sales forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align sales performance with broader business objectives.
- Support territory design, quota setting, and annual planning activities.
- Prepare proposals, RFPs, and other commercial documentation aligned with brand and governance standards.
- Conduct company and market research to support proactive client outreach and lead qualification.

Desired Skills and Experience

What We’re Looking For

- 2–4 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Analytics.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field is desirable but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Looker Studio).
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with complex datasets.
- Detail-oriented and commercially minded, with a passion for operational excellence.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or professional services is highly regarded.

Why You’ll Love It Here

- Hybrid working model (3 days in office / 2 from home).
- Opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing, market-leading organisation.
- Exposure to senior stakeholders across commercial, finance, and product teams.
- A high-performance, values-led culture where collaboration and innovation are encouraged.
- Recognised as a Great Place to Work®, with a strong commitment to employee experience and wellbeing.
- Join a company that’s redefining how the Australian market approaches registry, governance, and investor services.
