What you’ll do

Here's the exciting bit… A great day includes a positive mindset, people who can support their team to get things done and who enjoy getting involved. Your role as Apprentice Sales Adviser will be focused on serving customers, mostly at the till point, delivering excellent service and ensuring customers don’t miss out on any of our great Star Buys. You’ll help ensure the store is well stocked and maintain a high level of store presentation, and you will be involved in achieving the store targets. Your Assessor and store team will work with you to improve your communication, teamwork and organisational skills. They will support you with your employability skills including interview skills, CV preparation, managing your money, health, and wellbeing. Training will take place in store, with no college days. At the end of your training you will complete an end point assessment and, on successful completion, you will achieve a Retailer L2 Apprenticeship. During your Apprenticeship your Assessor and Store Manager will discuss progression opportunities, including becoming a sales adviser, team leader or other retail roles. This experience is designed to prepare you for bigger challenges, and Superdrug Apprentices Advisers are considered important for future leadership. We will actively develop your skills and offer real career progression supported by our in-house training and Apprenticeship qualifications.

What you’ll need to succeed

- Confident and clear communication skills
- Passionate about retail and customer service
- Desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills
- Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers (training provided)
- Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change

Qualifications

You qualify if…

- You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths
- You are not currently in any form of education and you are available for full time shifts
- You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
- You are eligible to work in the UK
- You are brand new to retail
