Tractor and Telehandler Operators - Hay & Harvest Posted: 09/10/2025 Overview Hay & Harvest Machinery Operators – Western Victoria. Dates: Start mid-October, finish approx. late January. This is a casual, seasonal position on a large family farm to assist with hay and cereal harvest. Responsibilities - Operate self-propelled MacDon with front mounted mower conditioners, various Case & John Deere tractors, hay rakes, bale trailers, JCB telehandlers and front-end loaders, as part of a large hay making operation. - Conduct chaser bin driving during cereal harvest in December and January, and assist with loading trucks and augering grain. - Windrow standing straw and bale it after harvest, then stack and store on farm. Requirements - Proven experience operating and maintaining similar machinery; self-propelled MacDon and telehandler experience highly regarded. - General knowledge and practical application of farm machinery preventative maintenance and repairs.
