Cheryl Dalton has been the CEO of South Burnett Care since 2013. She lives in the Darling Downs region and has an extensive background (over 30 years) in business management with a focus on finance, quality and people management. Throughout her career, Cheryl has worked in consultative roles focusing on Quality Assurance and has a long history of community work through both Board memberships and employment in community service and business management roles. Cheryl has extensive community connections and maintains longstanding memberships of many community committees including the Queensland Resource Operating Plan Panel, Department of Natural Resources and Mines Panel, Darling Downs Hospital board member and former chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and current member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committees. Cheryl served as a Councillor for the South Burnett Regional Council area for 5 terms, further developing her already high-level strategic management and governance skills.

As the Operations Manager I am responsible for the overall operational functions of the day to day service delivery in Toowoomba. I am proud to be a part of the organisations leadership team. A key aspect of my role is to ensure services provided are focused on client needs. At Toowoomba Community Care we pride ourselves in delivering high quality care focused on client needs. This is very important to me, it gives me great satisfaction to see our clients aspire to fulfil their goals. I have over 11 years’ experience working within the health and community care sector.
