An exciting opportunity exists at Parklands Christian College. Our Early Learning Centre – Parklands Little Learners are seeking a professional and passionate Early Childhood Teacher on a full-time basis.

Parklands Christian College is a growing school located on 44 acres of land on the southern corridor from Brisbane to Beaudesert at Park Ridge, Logan, QLD. We are a Christian, co-educational school of almost 1000 students, including an Early Learning through to Year 12 and our Outside School Hours Care Centre, with an established set of values that permeate everything to which we aspire.

About the Role
We are looking for someone who has experience supporting children in the pre-prep age group and has the flexibility to work Monday to Friday, including opening and closing shifts. Other responsibilities include:
1. Plan and implement high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs for children.
2. Provide leadership and guidance to other educators in the center.
3. Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider college community.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s development and progress.
5. Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children within the room.
6. Contribute to the Centre’s Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
7. Promote positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation through open, fair, and transparent decision-making and ethical, professional behavior.
About You
The successful applicant will be available to start as soon as possible and have the following:
1. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
2. Current valid Working with Children Check.
3. Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
4. Experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF, and the QKLG.
5. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and professional quality care.
