Your Opportunity

We have multiple opportunities across Queensland, however this opportunity is based in Southport.

The Family Clinic Southport is a modern medical centre located within Gold Coast city in QLD within proximity to Ashmore, Bundall, Labrador, Main Beach and Surfers Paradise. This medical, health and wellness centre offers state-of-the-art facilities and experienced doctors and provides bulk billing for children under 12.

The purpose-built medical centre features ten GP consulting rooms, a spacious treatment room, a pharmacy and a dedicated pathology and procedure room to provide patients with a streamlined “all in one” clinic experience with their doctors.

The GP centre is open Monday to Friday and Saturdays and offers a range of health services for Bundall, Ashmore and Surfers Paradise patients. Our services include General Medicine, Aged Care, Chronic Disease Management, Skin Cancer Checks and Excisions, Men’s Health, Family Planning, Travel Medicine, Women’s and Children’s Health, Antenatal Shared Care, Musculoskeletal Interventions and Sports Medicine.

The Gold Coast Skin Cancer Clinic and Surgicentre is located next to the Family Clinic Southport and offers the latest technology, including the Heine Digital Dermatoscopy System.

About the clinic

- Family Clinic Southport
- Open6days a week
- Saturdays are from 9am – 1pm and privately billed
- Pathology open Mon – Fri 8:30am -12:30pm
- Guaranteed hourly rate for 3 months
- Situated 700m from the city waterfront and recreational parklands
- Ample onsite parking
- Pharmacy onsite
- Opportunity to work in other Bupa Medical Centres as they open

Your OpportunityThe GP will need to either bring a patient case load or be prepared to work on building the patient base.

If you have a firm interest in PRP and MSK, this would be of benefit to the patient base, however this is not essential. If you love a healthy challenge, then this is the opportunity for you to transform the centre and support the people, of Southport.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced clinician to help build and mould the future of our Connected Care landscape and pave the way as we continue to grow this new area of the business, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are at the forefront of everything we do.

You’ll be

- Providing primary healthcare services, diagnosing, and treating various illnesses and injuries.
- Conducting routine screenings and providing advice on preventative care measures; this would include referring patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as required;
- Educating patients about health issues and providing advice on how to manage their on-going health;
- Ensuring continuity of care for all patients and aiding them to utilise their Bupa services to the best of their ability.

Apart from being a really busy clinic with lots of patients to care for, the best thing about this practice is the cohesive and connected team.
