About the Role
You will be joining a market-leading international organisation supporting their superannuation fund as a legal counsel within their high-performing and collegial team. This role will provide exposure to a diverse range of superannuation and regulatory matters, along with meaningful opportunities to influence business decisions and be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice across all aspects of the superannuation business, including trustee governance, licensing, regulatory compliance, breach reporting, and member issues
- Review disclosure materials and product documentation (including PDSs)
- Advise on trustee service provider arrangements and regulatory changes
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel
- Support board and committee activities through review and sign‑off of relevant materials
- Contribute to training, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Qualified lawyer with at least 3+ years’ post‑admission experience and relevant qualifications and practising certificate
- Background in superannuation and funds management
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
