Responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking a variety of woodfire pizza specialties, including classic and gourmet toppings, using a traditional woodfire pizza oven
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to ensure food safety and efficient service
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent meal preparation
- Monitoring inventory levels and communicating requirements to management
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
- Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience

Qualifications & experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role in a high-volume hospitality setting is ideal.
- Strong knowledge of pizza preparation techniques, including dough making, sauce preparation, and topping selection
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from the Head Chef
- Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing pizzas that exceed customer expectations
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
