Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to provide holistic and outcome-focused rehabilitation services to ADF personnel. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will utilize your clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support clients who have suffered from various injuries, illnesses, or trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take a holistic care approach and work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support individuals with diverse range of injuries, illnesses, or trauma.
  • Work with motivated clients to develop, implement, and monitor their rehabilitation plans while having onsite access to medical and treatment providers for additional direct support.
  • Perform various specific assessments including worksite, ergonomic, and ADL's.
Working Models and Support

We offer flexible working models to fit your needs, including Part-Time (3 or 4 days) or Full-time positions. You will be supported and mentored through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process, building your technical knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current unrestricted registration as an OT with AHPRA.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and report writing skills.
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support achievement of rehab goals.
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate.
