Locum Anaesthetist Consultant

About the Role:

An excellent opportunity is available for a Locum Principal House Officer (PHO) to join a well-established 200-bed acute care hospital in Bundaberg, QLD, from 27 October 2025 to 1 February 2026.

The hospital provides a broad range of medical and surgical services, including gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, urology, genetics, and paediatric respiratory care. It also operates a Level 2 Special Care Nursery, ensuring high-quality neonatal services.

As part of one of Queensland’s top-performing health and hospital networks, this role offers the chance to contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on excellence in patient care. You’ll work within a supportive team of experienced clinicians while continuing to build your clinical expertise in a dynamic and well-resourced setting.

About You:

- Relevant Tertiary qualification and current registration

- Active listener and critical thinking skills

- Demonstrated high standard of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, time management and organisation to ensure effective teamwork

- Current police check

- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian or New Zealand citizenship required
