The SESI network Director of Training (DoT) provides leadership and coordination for a program of basic and advanced psychiatry training for the network. The DOT works with local site coordinators of training (SCoTs) and the Network Training Committee (NTC) to ensure that standards of training and teaching are maintained. The DoT has a liaison role with the Branch Training Committee (BTC) of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), HETI and other organisations with oversight of psychiatry training in NSW.

The primary location of this position may be varied as agreed with the Director of Medical Services and as approved by MDAAC to other facilities in SESLHD.

- MBBS or equivalent.
- FRANZCP and registered as medical specialist with AHPRA.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of RANZCP Training and Examination by-laws.
- Demonstrated effective leadership across multiple stakeholders to deliver training outcomes.
- Ability to promote a culture of high-quality training, supervision and teaching.
- Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively to promote workforce wellbeing and equity in training opportunities.
