Responsibilities

- Coordinate and undertake evaluation of research progress
- Support the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
- Fixed Term (12 months) Part Time (0.5FTE) role based at the Medical Sciences Precinct, Hobart

What you’ll do

- Visit pilot sites and work with the research team to coordinate and undertake evaluation of research progress, including the management of collected data.
- Coordinate research-related administration, participant recruitment, and stakeholder management.
- Develop, implement, and maintain documentation surrounding key research projects in line with project management principles.
- Support with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources and contribute to manuscript preparation.

What we’re looking for

- A degree level qualification in health or a relevant area, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training.
- Demonstrated experience and initiative in the coordination of research projects.
- Experience with a range of computer software packages, including word processing, spreadsheet and database software, and the ability to analyse quantitative and qualitive data.
- Excellent writing skills, with demonstrated experience preparing scientific manuscripts.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to be self-directed, manage competing priorities and to use initiative, innovation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to convey information clearly and foster productive relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116,872 comprising base salary within the range of $92,120 to $99,891 (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation.
