School Crossing Supervisors (Relief) - Casual Position - Pay Rate: $41.66 per hour pro rata and inclusive of 25% loading in lieu of annual leave and sick leave - Location: Ringwood / Croydon Opportunities exists at Maroondah City Council for motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individuals of all ages to join our team of Relief School Crossing Supervisors. This is a great opportunity for individuals to work close to home. Key Requirements - Have a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle - Have the ability to follow road safety procedures and have a strong focus on your surroundings - At times, attend shifts at short notice and be prepared to accept phone calls from 7am - Be positive with a friendly attitude - Have the ability to communicate effectively in English with people of all ages. - Ideally live locally - Undertake eLearning when necessary If you have an hour or two to spare each day during school terms and between the hours of 8.00am and 9.00am and/or 3.00pm and 4.00pm, enjoy meeting people and be prepared to work at any of Maroondah City Council’s 73 school crossings in all weather conditions, we would be pleased to receive your application. What We Provide We provide uniforms, full training, ongoing support. You must also be willing to undergo a pre‑employment Medical, Police check and Working with Children check.
