About the Role:

We're looking for a dedicated Electrician to join our team in Lonsdale and the Aldershot Road warehouse. This role is crucial to our operations, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical equipment, plant, and services. You'll play a key role in ensuring our production efficiency meets customer demands within a safe and well-presented facility.

This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Troubleshooting & Repair: Respond to breakdowns, quickly identify faults, and perform repairs on a wide range of equipment, including injection moulding machines, PLC-controlled systems, robotics, and general production gear. The goal is to minimize downtime and get things running smoothly again.

- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carry out and assist in the development of PPM schedules to keep our equipment in peak condition. This proactive approach helps reduce downtime and reliance on external contractors.

- Project & Improvement Work: Take on special projects as needed and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Your expertise will help us improve processes and reduce costs.

- Safety & Compliance: Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety & Environmental protection. You'll be responsible for identifying and reporting potential hazards, ensuring the correct use of PPE, and complying with all company policies and legal requirements.

- Documentation: Help manage our documentation libraries and keep our Pronto CMM system up to date by creating, updating, and closing work orders.

What You'll Bring

We're searching for someone with a strong technical background and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Required Knowledge & Experience

- A completed Electrical apprenticeship and an A-class Electrical license.

- A minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining production and process equipment, with a preference for experience in a high-volume manufacturing or IMM moulding environment.

- Hands‑on experience with electrical fault finding on mains power, distribution systems, PLCs, robotics, and building services.

- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles.

- Experience working with facilities management.

Qualifications & Certifications:

- Trade qualifications are a minimum requirement, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

- Hold certifications for Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift, and EWP (scissor and boom lift).

- A High‑Risk Work License is a must.

- Certifications in PLC 1, 2, and 3, along with High Voltage switching and Arc flash training, are highly preferred.

- Certification in LV rescue is required.
