About the Role:

We are looking for an Interior Design Graduate with some level of industry experience (ideally 1-2 years) to join our thriving Sydney Studio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your experience as we continue to grow. You will gain exposure to an exciting range of projects across diverse sectors including Education, Commercial, Mixed Use, Health and Science, and Seniors Living.

We also expose you to all project phases and end-to-end project experience and have clear pathways of progression.

Our interior design team works on projects individually and as a team, managing a project from end to end, including basic documentation in Revit across multiple sectors including workspace, commercial, retail, seniors living, and education.

Vital to our successes is our ability to communicate designs and ideas through all mediums including Revit and Enscape, Indesign, Photoshop, Sketchup, and more progressive design technology including VR.

Our open and light-filled Sydney studio is in the heart of the Sydney CBD, close to trains, buses, and ferries, with onsite showers for those who enjoy riding or running to work. You will become part of our fun-loving, dedicated, and creative team of over Architects, Architectural Technicians, Interior Designers, and Graphic Design professionals.

General Duties:

1. Contribute to all project phases: concept design, space planning, design development, documentation to on-site construction management and contract administration.
2. Contribute to client briefings, workshops, design and design development.
3. Create designs and documentation in Revit.
4. Prepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms; Revit, Enscape, Indesign, Photoshop, Sketchup, VR, etc.
5. Work cohesively in a small and larger team.

About you:

Having the right attitude is key to long-term success. We are looking for team members that are keen to learn and develop, take on responsibility, and are detail-oriented in nature.

To be successful in this role you will need:

1. A Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or a similar qualification.
2. Ideally a minimum of 6 months' experience in a commercial interior design practice or environment.
3. Proven experience using Revit on projects.
4. Strong presentation and rendering skills; Sketch-up, Indesign, Photoshop, Enscape, Rhino, Office Suite will be highly regarded.
5. An eye for detail and design.
6. Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with team members, consultants, and clients.
7. Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects.
8. Personal pride and accountability in your work.
9. The capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously.
10. Ability to work on more than one project as required.
