Mid-Western Region is growing As the area continues to prosper at a steady rate, here at Mid-Western Regional Council we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time MR Maintenance Truck Driver job position based in Mudgee to drive Council's medium rigid maintenance trucks and undertake maintenance works, construction works and other related infrastructure works.

Working with the Operation Team, you will be responsible for:

- Drive Council’s MR trucks and undertake road maintenance, construction and other related infrastructure.

- Operate any Council vehicle/plant item in a safe and careful manner in accordance with relevant laws.

- To periodically undertake out of hours (on-call) duties.

What you can offer

We are looking for someone that possess the following skills to be successful in the role:

- Current MR Drivers Licence;

- Two years’ experience driving MR Trucks;

- Competent in problem solving skills;

- Ability to work autonomously with good time management;

- General Construction Induction Card(White Card);

- Competent skills in undertaking manual tasks associated with road maintenance and construction work;

- Competent skills in maintaining truck in a tidy and serviceable condition;

- Basic interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;

- Basic communication skills (oral and written);

- Ability to carry out instructions; and

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training.

The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $2,391.60-$2,691.60 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $62,181-$69,981 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
