Join Our Team as a Direct Care Worker (Residential) – Provide Compassionate Support to Residents

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of older people? This is your opportunity to play a hands‑on role in delivering person‑centred care within our Residential Care Home.

About the Role

As a Direct Care Worker (Residential), you will assist in providing direct client services to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity and wellbeing are maintained. Working as part of a supportive multi‑disciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with health professionals and contribute to a safe and caring environment. You will be accountable to the Nurse Unit Manager and Hotel Services Manager and play a vital role in supporting residents’ daily needs.

What We’re Looking For

- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.

- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day‑to‑day execution of a position.

- Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health‑related field.

- Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.

- Experience in the use of computer packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Applicant Information

This is a part‑time vacancy, working 72 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and required immunisation. The following checks are required:

- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check

- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.

- Immunisation Risk Category A.
