About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Steward to join our kitchen team. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a skilled and hygienic chef, while supporting the daily operations of a professional culinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in kitchen operations as directed by the Executive Chef

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work areaPerform cleaning duties and uphold hygiene standards

- Minimise waste and follow standard operating procedures

- Attend training sessions and contribute to a learning‑focused kitchen culture

- Support team harmony and uphold grooming and presentation standards

- Comply with hotel policies and OH&S guidelines

- Respond promptly to guest needs and perform other duties as required

Skills & Experience

- Eager to learn and grow within a professional kitchen

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently

- Team‑oriented with good communication skills

- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and professionalism
