As a Yardperson, you'll play a hands-on role in the daily operations of the hire yard — managing incoming and outgoing equipment, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring the yard runs smoothly and safely.

Key Duties

- Load and unload machinery and equipment
- Conduct basic checks, clean, and prepare equipment for hire
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- Operate forklifts to move equipment safely
- Liaise with customers and drivers for pick-ups and returns
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures

About You

- Forklift license – essential
- White Card – essential
- Prior experience in equipment hire, construction, or similar yard-based roles
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused
- Able to work independently and within a team
