PERSOLKELLY is seeking Full Stack Developers to join the State Government and be part of a technology-driven team
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop SPAs and AWS Lambda functions using node.js
- Work with UX team to take a prototype and develop into a customer-facing web application
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Interact with backend systems
- Liaise with business representatives and Subject Matter Experts to understand the business requirements behind the existing integration, documentation, incident management, problem management, change management, etc.
- Provide ongoing third-level technical support for programs and systems
- Analyse and resolve problems, and where necessary, follow through with external service providers; monitor recurring problems to identify trends and resolve Data Synchronization & performance issues
- Maintain timely and accurate system documentation, technical and user guides, software asset and configuration registers, and other documentation produced during the program and/or system lifecycle
- Be an expert in your field and able to clearly communicate your ideas and concerns to the team.
- Be a confident and motivated individual with an action bias and a growth mindset.
- Apply a consultative approach to working on projects and with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with your team and stakeholders in every stage of a product's lifecycle; from planning to delivery.
- Be responsible for estimating your own tasks and managing your own workflow to meet the deadlines which you will have set with your team.
What are we looking for?
- Exposure to writing unit, integration, and E2E tests using tools such as Mocha, Jest, etc.
- Experience in REST API Design & Implementation
- Experience with version control management and repository Git & Bitbucket
- Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous delivery environment
- Understanding of enterprise IT environments and integrated systems.
- Ability to build rapport with teams for efficient and timely resolution
- Adaptive and attention to detail
- Experience in understanding complex business rules and policies in an integrated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other skills and qualifications:
- Experience with Vue 3
- AWS experience across one or more of the following: EC2, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, DynamoDB, API Gateway, VPC, and S3
- Experience implementing AWS Lambda functions using Node.js
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate each component in that pipeline
- Experience implementing SSO/OpenAM/OAuth
- Experience using a NoSQL database
