Manager Program Delivery

Temporary, full‑time role based in Northern Rivers (Lismore) with flexible/hybrid working. Salary $149,739–$173,174 plus super. Role to deliver the Resilient Homes Programme (RHP) supporting flood resilience across Northern Rivers and Central West, managing home buy‑backs, rebuilds and retrofits.
Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of home buy‑backs, raisings, rebuilds and retrofits to improve flood resilience.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to enable a coordinated, efficient program delivery.
- Provide evidence‑based advice and implement innovative tools, practices and processes to support program success.
- Lead resolution of complex stakeholder issues and customer support activities.
- Ensure program compliance with Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and support audit processes.
- Deliver timely, accurate program‑level reporting to leadership and external committees.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience coordinating a portfolio of complex and high‑profile programs, preferably in disaster recovery, housing or government service delivery. They’ll be skilled in managing cross‑functional teams, stakeholder engagement and customer resolution. A solid understanding of program governance, compliance frameworks such as Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, and strategic reporting is key.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as disaster management and program management.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department. It will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster, coordinating reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
