Our client is a respected CBD-based law firm recognised for its leading Tax team and ability to hold its own alongside the legal teams of the 'Big 4' accounting firms. They have been steadily growing their firm with skilled and dedicated lawyers and are now seeking a talented Tax Lawyer to join their team.

If you like immersing yourself in complex tax matters, this is the role you have been searching for Our client strategically takes on lower volumes of work to focus on complex tax matters and ensure they can deliver a premium services and standard of work that far exceeds their client's expectations.
Reporting to two accomplished Tax Partners, your clients will mainly be medium-sized private businesses/business owners. Examples of your responsibilities include:
- advice on Small Business Concessions
- advice on restructures
- tax disputes
- preparation of private rulings
- advice on GST and stamp duty
- advice on business transactions (e.g. share sale transactions, business sale transactions)
- advice in relation to property developments
About you…
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Tax Lawyer (Senior Associate or Special Counsel level) with a minimum of 5 years PAE in wide ranging tax law matters, as well as:--
- exclusive practice experience in tax law with a recognised tax law practice or tax team of a larger firm;
- excellent communication skills at all levels and a strong 'client care/service' focus;
- a self-starter with an engaging, pro-active team approach
