As the People Manager, you'll partner with leaders to deliver trusted HR advice, manage complex employee relations matters, and bring key people initiatives to life. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a national retail business that puts people first.

You'll sit within a supportive and forward-thinking P&C team, reporting into a Head of People, and play a key role in shaping the employee experience across head office, retail and distribution functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with business leaders to coach, guide, and influence outcomes on all people-related matters
2. Lead ER cases end-to-end, including investigations, performance, and compliance processes
3. Drive people initiatives across talent development, engagement, and organisational design
4. Contribute to reward, recognition, and benefits projects to enhance retention and culture
5. Review and elevate existing frameworks, policies, and people practices
6. Support major people projects, including restructures, workforce planning and change

What You'll Bring:

1. Solid experience as an HR Business Partner, People Partner or HR Advisor
2. Strong capability in handling complex ER issues and providing trusted, commercial advice
3. Experience across the full HR lifecycle: performance, engagement, capability, OD, and reward
4. Comfortable working with senior leaders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
5. Retail or multi-site background is helpful, but not essential
6. A proactive, personable, and strategic mindset – someone who leads with integrity and purpose
