About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a full-time pharmacist to join us at Slade Pharmacy Victoria Parade, based at the highly regarded Epworth Maternity Hospital. You'll partner with clinical teams to deliver exceptional pharmacy services for health professionals and their patients. We offer clinical, operational and quality pharmacy services to specialties including surgery, oncology, renal dialysis, urology, cardiology, neurology, general medicine, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day patients and discharges
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
- Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
- Prepare and package medications in dosage as necessary.
- Attend the front shop to ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy.
- Participate in the weekend and public holiday roster
- Participate in various other pharmacy duties as per business need

Who we are looking for:
As a registered pharmacist with Australian based pharmacy experience, you will have a team orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients, and the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals. You will be highly driven and have high attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Have time management, communication and teamwork skills
- Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team
- Embrace change and commit to learning
- Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously and multi-task
- Minimum 2 years of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
