Their Inglewood site is home to both the farm and processing plant, working closely to deliver exceptional quality and efficiency.
The Role
Based on-site at a large-scale organic poultry farm in Inglewood, QLD, this hands-on role oversees all aspects of poultry farming operations, with flexibility to contribute to adjacent processing activities. Managing 52 sheds with approximately 4,000 birds each, the key responsibilities include:
- Leading day-to-day operations and staff across farm activities
- Monitoring and improving shed performance and animal welfare outcomes
- Fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Developing team capability and professional growth
- Managing shift rosters and internal on-call responsibilities
- Collaborating with processing and feed mill teams as required
