Workforce Retention Consultant - Gladstone

IMPACT Community Services is proud to announce our successful partnership with CoAct under the Inclusive Employment Australia program. This transformative 5-year initiative will empower the Gladstone community through inclusive employment solutions.

We are seeking a passionate, driven professional to join our Gladstone team as a Workforce Retention Consultant. In this newly created role,you will support clients after they start work, helping them to stay employed in the long term.

What you will be doing:

- Retention Support and Planning, conduct workplace assessments to identify client support needs and develop targeted action plans
- Client and Employer Servicing, maintain regular contact with clients and employers to monitor progress and support needs
- Claims management, monitor earnings and hours and manage claim tracking
- Customised Employment, negotiate tailored opportunities with employers

What you'll need to succeed:

- A passion for inclusive employment and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Relevant experience in employment services, community engagement, recruitment, or workforce development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you’ll be working with people from all walks of life
- Proven ability to build relationships with job seekers, employers, and community stakeholders
- Adaptability and initiative – this is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged
- Understanding of local labour markets and barriers to employment in regional communities.
- A current driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as required
