Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Indonesian to join our team at Peninsula Grammar for 2026. Full-time opportunity available, however candidates interested in part-time opportunities are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Planning and delivering engaging and effective Indonesian language lessons to students across different year levels, including middle & senior school.
- Creating engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student participation and progression
- Developing and implementing effective assessment methods to evaluate student performance and understanding
- Supporting students' personal and academic development through mentorship and guidance
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching techniques

About You

- Proven experience in teaching Indonesian language and cultureat a secondary level
- Demonstrated ability to engage students with a lively, adaptive and effective learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or pastoral care responsibilities

All positions at Peninsula Grammar require:

- Current VIT
- First-Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Child Safety training (Mandatory Reporting Certificate)
