Overview

Join our team at Milestones Early Learning Townsville

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Lead. The right candidate will have strong knowledge of the NQS, EYLF, QKLG, and childcare regulations and will be committed to driving high-quality outcomes for children and families.

In this role you will:

- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of educators

- Support the ongoing professional development of educators

- Ensure our programs align with the EYLF, QKLG and NQS

- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive leadership team

Responsibilities

- Provide leadership and direction to the educational team

- Foster a collaborative, reflective practice culture

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards

- Lead program planning, assessment, and documentation for continuous improvement

Qualifications

- Sound understanding of early childhood frameworks and regulations

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- A passion for creating high-quality educational programs

- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve excellence

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

- A current Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain

- A current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willingness to obtain
