You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day farm operations by applying industry best practices, technical knowledge, and data-driven solutions to enhance soil health, crop output, and overall farm performance. The role involves working closely with Farm Managers and operational teams to deliver improved farming outcomes.

Task & responsibilities

- Conduct topographical, physical, and soil analyses to determine optimal land usage and identify nutrient deficiencies.

- Assist in developing improved methods of planting, fertilising, harvesting, and processing crops to achieve maximum land efficiency.

- Identify and monitor harmful pathogens, insects, parasites, fungi, and weeds affecting crops and help devise effective control measures.

- Analyse produce to maintain and improve quality standards across operations.

- Coordinate the supply of agricultural inputs such as drugs, vaccines, and chemicals, and advise farm managers on their correct application.

- Collect, analyse, and compile research data to support ongoing agricultural projects and innovations.

- Participate in the planning and monitoring of production activities, including harvesting, slaughtering, and overall farm output.

- Provide guidance to producers on modern farming techniques, management practices, and sustainability initiatives.

- Perform technical testing and experiments to assist agricultural scientists in research, production, servicing, and marketing operations.

Qualification & experience

- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in a farm, laboratory, or agricultural research environment.

- Relevant qualification required.

- Strong analytical, observational, and problem‑solving skills.

- Knowledge of agricultural equipment, soil testing, and crop management techniques.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in field or laboratory settings.
