Area Sales Manager – Canberra & Southern NSW (Leading Apparel & Workwear Brand)
Six Degrees Executive are excited to partner with a fast-growing, category-leading brand within the workwear and apparel industry. With strong national presence and a highly engaged sales team, the business continues to invest in strengthening its wholesale channels and elevating the in-store experience for customers. As part of this growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to take ownership of the Canberra & Southern NSW territory.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role plays a critical part in driving net sales, growing repeat orders, and ensuring best‑in‑class brand representation across a mature yet high‑potential territory. You’ll manage a network of ~55 independent and franchise retail partners, building strong relationships, lifting merchandising standards, and driving consistency through disciplined weekly call cycles.
Key areas of accountability include:
- Managing and executing structured weekly call cycles across Canberra & Southern NSW
- Growing net sales, seasonal indents, and repeat orders through relationship‑first account management
- Ensuring high in‑store standards through hands‑on merchandising, product presentation, and brand execution
- Analysing account performance, identifying opportunities, and delivering commercial outcomes
- Presenting product to end users (B2B) and funnelling demand back through wholesale partners
- Managing weekly orders, stock inquiries, and sales administration
- Supporting marketing initiatives, product feedback loops, and promotional execution
- Building the territory through consistent store engagement and selective new business activity
We’re looking for a field‑based sales professional with 2+ years’ experience in workwear, footwear, apparel, tools, trade, or a related wholesale category. You’ll thrive on the shop floor, enjoy rolling your sleeves up in-store, and bring a relationship‑driven, organized approach to your territory. Analytical, commercially sharp, and highly autonomous, you’ll understand your numbers, know where the opportunities are, and execute with discipline. A current driver’s licence and comfort with regional travel (10–12 trips/year) are essential.
What’s on Offer
- $95–105k base + $15k car allowance + fuel card + super
- Quarterly bonus structure (realistic OTE $12–18k)
