This is a full-time, permanent position for an experienced Powder Coater who is motivated, has a positive attitude, is process focused with a keen eye for detail.

Position Duties
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be able to confidently work autonomously and side by side with the team. The following are some of the core requirements of the role:

· Responsible for working in accordance with the Quality Management System, including quality checks of goods in-process to ensure all items are powder coated in accordance with standards.

· Carry out production and maintenance work as specified by the Production Manager.

· Accept responsibility and authority for quality of own work.

· Ensure all items are powder coated evenly and to the correct specifications.

· Be prepared to assist in other areas of the production area as requested by Management.

· Fill in required documentation correctly.

· Keep personal work area clean and tidy and equipment maintained stored correctly.

· Be responsible for your own safety and the safety of others

Skills, Experience and Approach
Ideal candidates will possess the following attributes:

· Experience in powder coating (essential) including preparation, and quality assurance (desirable)

· Good understanding of all other powder coating processes

· Exceptional customer service

· Personally reliable, self-motivated, willingness to take on additional tasks, attention to detail and a sense of urgency

· Proactive, positive attitude, displays initiative and has an enthusiasm for team work

· Capable of working to tight deadlines, mature professional approach to resolving competing priorities and be happy to be held accountable

· Have a strong personal and team focus on safety first at all times

Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends

Supplementary Pay:
Overtime pay
