About the role

The Aged Care Assessment Team is a dynamic and supportive team that is passionate about delivering high quality aged care assessments enabling access to services under My Aged Care. Work in a large, busy team that offers regular professional development opportunities and well-structured clinical support. Assessors are accountable for achieving and monitoring clinical outcomes in their specific area of expertise, driving best practice and identifying trends in clinical care and practice variances.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

- Demonstrated understanding of aged care systems
- Current registration with AHPRA or AASW dependent in your relevant discipline
- Evidence of ongoing commitment to professional development
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
