We'relooking for a passionate leader to join our team in Rockhampton asa Foster & Kinship Care Coordinator. In this role you'll guidea dedicated team to deliver high-quality support to carers throughrecruitment, assessment and ongoing monitoring of placements.You'll ensure children are placed in a safe, nurturing environmentsand that all care standards and licensing requirements are met.This role also includes participation in a rotational on-callroster to support carers when they need it themost.

What will a typical day look like?

- Manager a team delivering high-quality carer recruitment, assessment andsupport.

- Ensure children'splacements meet licensing standards and provide safe, nurturingenvironments.

- Build strongrelationships with partners to support collaborative servicedelivery.

- Mentor staff intrauma-informed care, child development, and service agreementoutcomes.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Abachelor’s degree in social work, human services orbehavioural science, or psychology (or related discipline) and3 years’ experience leading a team in a similar role.

Other Requirements:

- Ability to obtain aBlue Card (working with children check positive notice orexemption)

- Ability to obtain aYellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemptionnotice)
