A bout the Role

UGL is seeking Mechanical S26 Supervisors for an upcoming shutdown in the Pilbara, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and Lead:Directly manage and lead a team of E&I or SMP tradespeople to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.

· Safety Compliance:Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all SMP activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.

· Quality Assurance:Monitor and inspect E&I and SMP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.

· Resource Allocation:Efficiently utilise resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.

· Communication:Foster effective communication within the SMP team and collaborate with other superintendent and project manager to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.

· Problem Solving:Proactively identify and resolve issues related to E&I and SMP activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.

· Documentation:Ensure accurate and timely documentation of E&I and SMP activities, including daily reports, and any required project documentation.

About You:

You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in SMP supervision

· Proficient knowledge of structural, mechanical, piping systems, and electrical

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Familiarity with WA mining safety regulations

· Proven track record of successfully managing teams

· White Card
