Vetcall Ashmore presents a rare opportunity for an accomplished surgeon or experienced leader to become our next Clinical Director, available for the first time in many years.

About Us

Vetcall Ashmore is the largest GP Hospital on the Gold Coast, with our 650sqm iconic practice centrally based on a large suburban block ten minutes from Surfers Paradise. Our practice holds a long history in our community with an established and expansive client base, known for our reputation for high quality care and genuine relationships. We also have future plans for a new purpose-designed hospital in 2025

Our busy practice operates on 5-6 talented vets per day focused on a diverse caseload of routine and complex cases across our medicine, diagnostics, procedures, surgery and urgent care services – all supported by our dedicated client service team and qualified veterinary nurses.

A typical day starts with rounds for team bonding, briefing on the days schedule along with our urgent care hospital vet who is free to manage urgent presentations, diagnostics and hospital cases. We place high attention on appointment book management to ensure a smooth coordination of our vet's time either front or back of house to optimise our patients care. Our caseload is also supported by our external dedicated specialists on demand.

We have all the assets and amenities expected, including four consult rooms plus end-of-life suite, surgery theatres, procedural workspace, treatment room, dental imaging, DR-Xray, ultrasound, full IDEXX inhouse pathology, pharmacy, separate cat/dog ward/runs, outside yard space, vet offices, team member facilities, and more.

- Experience Veterinary Career Fulfillment
- Bachelor or Doctor of Veterinary Science or higher
- Attractive Salary Package $160,000+ plus super, eligible for bonus scheme
