Role Overview

As the Lecturer Electrical, you will require trade qualifications for the Cert III qualifications including an unrestricted Electrical Licence. Cert IV will need relevant industry experience and Cert IV qualifications; you may hold either an Unrestricted or Restricted Electrical Licence.

Responsibilities

- Deliver the following courses: MEM40119 Certificate IV in Engineering - Instrumentation; MEM31219 Certificate III in Engineering - Industrial Electrician; UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician at Karratha.

- Deliver the following courses: UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician; MEM40119 Certificate IV in Engineering - Instrumentation at Pundulmurra (South Hedland).

- Maintain up-to-date curriculum and teaching resources.

- Engage with student assessment and provide feedback.

- Contribute to professional development activities.

Qualifications

- Trade qualifications for Cert III Electrical and Electrotechnology.

- Unrestricted Electrical Licence (for Cert III).

- Cert IV Electrical experience and qualification; either Unrestricted or Restricted Licence.

Appointment Pool

North Regional TAFE is establishing an open recruitment pool of Lecturer Electrical. Suitable applicants will be placed in the pool for appointments that arise in the next 24 months. The pool remains open until 4 July 2027.

We currently have two Permanent full‑time positions for immediate filling at our Karratha Campus and one permanent full‑time position for immediate filling at our Pundulmurra (South Hedland) campus.
