Architectural Draftsperson

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and documentation for residential and commercial construction projects in accordance with design concepts, specifications, and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD and BIM software.
- Interpret architectural and engineering designs and translate them into technical documentation.
- Liaise with architects, builders, engineers, and clients to ensure plans meet project requirements.
- Research and apply relevant building codes, standards, and planning regulations.
- Prepare documentation for building approvals and construction.
- Contribute to design development, presentation materials, and project coordination.
Skills and Experience Required:
- AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Building Design, Architectural Drafting, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in an architectural drafting role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, NCC, and local planning regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Employment Conditions:
- Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience.
- Location: East Victoria Park, Western
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday
