Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining vehicle integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safe Driving: Operate Heavy Combination vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic and road safety laws.
2. Load and Unload Goods: Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent damage during transit.
3. Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to deliver goods on time.
4. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order and report any maintenance issues promptly.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery dockets, logbooks, and timesheets.
6. Communication: Liaise with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
7. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, including fatigue management and chain of responsibility obligations.
8. Customer Service: Represent the company professionally, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience driving HC trucks (minimum [X] years preferred).
2. Knowledge: Familiarity with road transport regulations and safe driving practices.
3. Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading goods, if required.
4. Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills.
5. Technology: Basic proficiency in using GPS devices and logbook applications.
