We are a not‑for‑profit organisation employing more than 500 dedicated professionals who deliver personalised residential aged care, community care, allied health, dementia education, and support services.
Location & Schedule
Location: Brisbane North (Gordon Park) and Brisbane South (Upper Mount Gravatt)
Employment Type: Full‑time, Monday to Friday (three days per week at Gordon Park and two days per week at Upper Mount Gravatt, primarily clinic based with occasional home visits)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate group physiotherapy sessions tailored to older adults and clients living with dementia.
- Deliver targeted treatment interventions including the use of ultrasound (US) and TENS.
- Provide dry needling or western acupuncture as part of treatment plans where appropriate.
- Educate staff and carers in safe manual handling techniques and participate in risk assessments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Conduct individual sessions in the clinic and occasional home visits as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to program development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher in Physiotherapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Experience delivering group therapy programmes in aged care or community settings.
- Proficient in the use of US/TENS, dry needling, and manual therapy techniques.
- Experience providing manual handling education or training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally between sites.
