Our Sports and Activities team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Children’s Activities Party Host, delivering fun and engaging birthday party experiences at our Recreation Centre.

Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, exciting and age-appropriate birthday parties
- Confidently lead parties without direct supervision
- Demonstrate initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism
- Present yourself with excellent personal presentation
- Provide support to the wider Sports and Activities team if required
- Assist in the setting up and removal of all necessary equipment as required

Qualifications and Experience

- A good level of physical fitness
- Availability to work Friday nights and weekends
- Prior experience hosting children’s parties (highly regarded)
- A passion for working with and engaging children aged up to 12 years
- Organizational and time management skills
- Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Senior First Aid Certificate

The finer details

This Casual Level 1 role has a current pay rate of between $22.70 – $35.88 (depends on age and skill level).
