GA 2025) Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time The Role We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period. Lesmurdie Senior High School (SHS) is set in the beautiful Perth Hills, at the fringe of a residential area, just 30 minutes from the CBD. The school community recognises the guardianship of the traditional owners of the land and embraces its growing diversity. The role involves: - Internal cleaning duties such as carpet and hard floor maintenance, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings care, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and cleaning of drinking troughs. - External cleaning duties including verandas, covered areas, drinking troughs, window cleaning, cobweb removal, and general cleaning as directed by the Cleaner-in-Charge. - Vacational cleaning duties: shampooing carpets and pressure cleaning various areas. In this role, you will have good attention to detail and work well individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You should be organised, honest, reliable, and punctual. Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices is advantageous. On-/-job training will be provided.
