We are seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to provide care and support to individuals in need as Personal Care Workers in the Southern Gold Coast region.
About the Role:Our Personal Care Workers help Home Care clients with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support, travelling between clients' homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Support elderly individuals in maintaining independence and overall well-being.
- Provide personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and companionship.
- Assist with household chores and engaging activities.
- Monitor health and collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or Certificate III in Ageing Support.
- Australian Federal Police Clearance.
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required).
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Knowledge of person-centered care principles and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and manual tasks.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings.
