Location: Canberra, ACT

Employment Type: Full-time

Employment Status: Ongoing

Trinity Christian School is an independent Preschool to Year 12 school where students develop spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically through a wide range of learning experiences. We recognise the individual worth of each person and their responsibility to others. Trinity promotes staff excellence and values the benefit that our professional team bring to the school. Trinity offers all the professional advantages of a large and established organisation. However, our distinctive structure enables us to develop and support smaller caring communities of staff and families united by Christian vision, mission and values.

About the Role

This role of Family Accounts and Finance Officer is to support the day-to-day operations of the Business Services Unit across the Accounts Receivable and Finance working groups. This role is a generalist role within the Business Services Unit, which is a busy and professional team that supports the financial and administration functions of the school. As the School outsources the management of parent fees, a substantial component of this position is to oversee that accurate and timely debtor information is prepared, managed and communicated to stakeholders. Further, the role will provide support as required for payroll, accounts payable and purchasing officer.

The role upholds the value of Christ centred education, whether engaging with external stakeholders or internally when working alongside peers and other areas of the school community.

This is a full-time position, 48 weeks a year and 4 weeks annual leave. The Family Accounts and Finance Officer is responsible directly to the Finance Manager on a day-to-day basis and to the Business Manager. The Business Manager is responsible to the Principal.
