About the role

As an underground truck operator you will be required to operate an Agi truck as directed following strict site safety policies and procedures. An underground Agi truck is essentially an underground cement truck. This role involves cleaning and maintaining the truck, filling up the truck with the cement like mix that is created on the surface in the batch plant and piped underground and then working alongside the shotcrete sprayers to drive the truck wherever they need you will also be responsible for prestarts on equipment / trucks & radio communication.

Responsibilities

- Operate an Agi truck as directed, following site safety policies and procedures.

- Clean and maintain the truck; fill with cement-like mix from the surface batch plant and pipe underground.

- Work alongside shotcrete sprayers to position the truck as needed.

- Perform pre-start checks on equipment and trucks; maintain radio communication.

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in underground mining/operating is not essential but desirable.

- To be successful in the role you will hold or have the ability to gain:

- Australian manual driver's license

- Willingness to obtain police check

- The ability to pass a mining medical

- A strong work ethic

- Excellent safety standards
