About the role

Ventia is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee our transport operations in the Albury Wodonga Military Area. In this role you will oversee the coordination and inspection of Defence vehicle exchanges, ensuring all documentation, servicing records, and handovers are completed accurately. You’ll manage vehicle bookings, maintain fuel card registers, and monitor vehicle performance to arrange repairs or replacements as needed. Your role includes conducting safety audits, liaising with clients on delivery schedules, and supporting service delivery personnel. You’ll also ensure financial viability within budget, prepare management reports, and maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency in a secure environment.

About you

- Expertise 3+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory role.

- Relevant trade qualifications.

- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Knowledge of Defence roles, functions, and organisational structure (Advantageous)

- Excellent customer service focus and communication skills.

- You are a safety-focused leader who drives accountability and continuous improvement. You coach and empower teams to deliver operational excellence, embedding safety as a core value in every aspect of work. At Ventia, we value leaders who lead by example — fostering a culture where safety is second nature and every team member feels responsible for their own wellbeing and that of others.

- Current Australian drivers licence. (Advantageous).

- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police.
