The Role:

As an NDIS Support Worker with Magnus Health, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Building strong and trusting relationships with individuals receiving support, empowering them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
2. Providing compassionate and person-centered care, including assistance with daily living activities, social engagement, and community participation.
3. Collaborating closely with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored support plans.
4. Offering emotional support, active listening, and encouragement to promote mental well-being and self-confidence.

6. Maintaining clear and thorough documentation of client progress, observations, and any changes in their needs or circumstances.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Certificate III or IV in Mental Health, Disability, Community Services, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
2. Previous experience in mental health support or a similar role is preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
4. Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to support individuals facing mental health challenges.
5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also demonstrating initiative and autonomy.
6. Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
