Novaskill, together with some amazing local businesses, is offering multiple Carpentry Apprenticeships—and we want you on board This is your chance to roll up your sleeves, learn from the best, and literally start building your career in construction.

With hands-on training, mentoring, and ongoing support, you’ll be completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Carpentry while gaining real-world experience that will set you up for long-term success.

What You’ll Be Learning

- Read and interpret building plans (like a pro).

- Pull things down (safely) with general demolition skills.

- Install and replace windows and doors to give homes a fresh new look.

- Work with lining, paneling, moulding, and flooring systems.

- Build wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, and even timber stairs.

What You’ll Gain

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

- Chatting with clients and keeping them in the loop.

- Updating the boss with job progress.

- Pitching in with the team (and smashing deadlines together).

- Working solo when needed (showing off your independence).

- Measuring, cutting, and double-checking your work for quality.

- Motivated, hands‑on, and ready to learn.

- Keen to grow your skills and carve out a career in carpentry.

- Proud of your attention to detail and high‑quality work.

- Reliable, punctual, and a solid communicator.
