Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent role for an Occupational Therapist in our Community Care team. You will work with patients aged 18+ years, including those with neurological, orthopaedic, complex, and chronic medical conditions, frail aged, and rapidly deteriorating individuals.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Care team. As a member of this team, you will provide assessment and intervention relating to assistive technology and home modifications for patients across the ACT. This may include working from community health centres or patient homes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and intervention services to patients in their homes or at community health centres
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and continuous quality improvement activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working in a community-based setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
