Are you a passionate and qualified Mathematics teacher ready to inspire young minds?

Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is seeking a temporary full-time (1.0FTE) Mathematics teacher to cover long service leave for the whole of Term 4, 2025. This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is eager to engage students in Mathematics. The role is open to both experienced teachers and new graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

About the Opportunity

- Deliver engaging lessons that cater to the learning needs of all students
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment
- Provide appropriate notice and feedback on assessment tasks in line with College requirements
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies to support student learning
- Work collaboratively within the College community to set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students

About You

- Current qualifications and experience teaching Mathematics, or be a new graduate with approval to teach
- Strong ICT skills with the ability and willingness to integrate technology into teaching where relevant
- Strong communication and organisational skills ensuring reporting deadlines are met
- Ability to motivate students and foster a love of learning
- Flexibility to differentiate learning activities and assessment techniques to support a wide range of learners
- Willingness to be an active part of the Marian community

Qualifications and Accreditations

- Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation – Working with Children Check clearance
- Eligibility to teach according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (new grads encouraged to apply)
